What ELARIA does, and where it stops.
SI does the mechanical work of a practice at machine speed. The line between that work and legal judgment is written into the software, and it doesn’t move.
Handles
Intake, document drafting, citation checks, deadline tracking, evidence organization, client updates, filing prep and the audit trail.
Hands to you
Strategy, predictions, anything that is advice. Every judgment call goes to the attorney, and every output is reviewed before it is filed.
Refuses
A citation it can’t find in the primary source, and a fact it can’t trace to a document in the file. It removes them and tells you why.
What it is
Legal services, restructured for the SI era.
Hourly billing exists because the work was manual. AVOWAL automates the manual layer, which makes predictable, attorney-backed representation viable for matters that used to be either prohibitively expensive or impossible to staff.
Limited-scope representation
You hire an attorney for a specific task — a motion, a hearing, a contract review — not the whole matter. Defined, capped, court-approved where required. We make it the default, not the exception.
SI-managed workflow
ELARIA handles intake, document assembly, deadline tracking, citation verification, and communications. Your attorney spends their time on judgment, not paperwork. The price reflects it.
White-label by design
We don't employ lawyers, and we don't stand between you and yours. Clients work in their attorney's own portal — the firm's name, the firm's domain, an assistant the attorney names and configures. The attorney runs the practice; we run the operations layer.
Every citation, checked against the source.
Before a draft reaches you, ELARIA looks up each authority it cites. Anything it can’t find is removed and flagged, so you review a clean draft instead of hunting for a bad cite.
The plaintiff moves for an order of contempt under Practice Book § 25-27 and General Statutes § 46b-87. The defendant has not paid court-ordered support since March. See Mercer v. Callahan, 214 Conn. 441 (1990).

Example draft. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Sealed, so nothing can be swapped.
The draft, the citation report and the certificate are each fingerprinted, and each fingerprint includes the one before it. Change one word after sealing and the chain shows exactly where.
The fingerprints shown here are real SHA-256 hashes, computed in your browser as you type.

Your name on it. Not ours.
Your assistant, your brand
Clients meet an assistant you name, on your domain, in your firm’s colors. ELARIA is the engine underneath.
Your hardware, if you want it
The same engine can run on machines your firm owns, fully offline, so work product never leaves the building.
Example firm and assistant.
Agentic by design
Agents, not chatbots. Yours, not ours.
The engine underneath is agentic: it holds a goal, plans the steps, executes them, and checks its own work. What your clients meet is your firm's assistant. Where it runs is your call.
Agents, not chatbots
A chatbot answers one prompt and stops. An agent reads the file, drafts the motion, verifies its own citations, watches the deadlines, and comes back when a decision needs a lawyer.
Your own named assistant
Clients meet your firm's assistant — named by you, on your domain, in your brand. ELARIA is the engine underneath; the name on it is yours.
Runs on your hardware
The same engine on machines the firm owns, inside your own walls. Can run fully offline — work product never leaves the building. Founding-firm program, by engagement.
How it works
Intake to resolution — in four steps.
From the first message to the last filing, the process is structured, transparent, and priced up front. No surprise invoices. No hour-by-hour anxiety.
Intake
Tell ELARIA what's happening. Two to ten minutes. She structures your matter, identifies jurisdiction, deadlines, and the legal questions in play.
Triage
ELARIA scopes the engagement, estimates effort, and proposes a limited-scope plan — a written fee estimate anchored to the firm's published rates. The attorney confirms the fee before you commit.
Engage
The firm's attorney reviews the scoped intake, confirms or adjusts the scope and fee, and signs the limited-scope engagement. Every matter stays with its attorney of record — nothing is routed or reassigned.
Deliver
Your attorney files, argues, or advises. ELARIA prepares drafts, tracks deadlines, and keeps you informed in plain English. You see every document, every cite, every audit trail.
Wherever you work
Three surfaces. One file.
Your matter is the same wherever you open it — web for desk work, macOS for deep drafting, iOS for hearings and on-the-go review.
Trust by construction
Built so you don't have to take our word for it.
Independent, licensed, accountable
Every attorney on the platform is independently licensed and personally accountable for the work they sign. AVOWAL never holds itself out as legal counsel.
Built around the UPL line
Workflows are structured around the unauthorized-practice-of-law rules of each jurisdiction. ELARIA executes; attorneys advise. The line is clear and enforced in software.
Cryptographically verifiable
Every filing AVOWAL prepares carries a signed manifest of sources, citations, and the chain of edits. Verifiable by court, opposing counsel, or auditor.
Pricing
We charge for the software. Never a share of legal fees.
Clients pay their attorney directly. You set the fee, you keep it, and you decide everything.
